Acrefine Seismic Snubber

All Directional Restraining & Height Adjustable

Acrefine AS-B type seismic snubbers are designed to limit in all directions any equipment motion caused by external forces such as seismic events.

These snubbers are ideal for applications where all-directional restraining is required. At least two snubbers must be installed opposite one another to limit equipment movement when subject to lateral and vertical forces from any direction. AS-B type snubbers are designed for equipment that have predrilled holes in their bases. If the base is suitable for seismic applications installing these snubbers could save time and cost.

AS-B type snubbers are height adjustable and consist of two components. After the height is adjusted these components should be welded together. Impact surfaces on the snubber are protected by elastic rubber which reduces the shock loads and ensures improved performance during earthquakes.

Acrefine AS-B type snubbers are designed for floor mounted equipment. They have a strong base and predrilled holes. They are suitable for applications where equipment is on resilient supports such as rubber or springs where all directional restraining is required. When installed snubbers remain out of contact during normal operation. They are built to withstand seismic forces so that equipment can be held in place.
